Fighter

Fighters are those who have trained in combat with physical weapons and armour of all type

Cleric

When the gods were murdered,  it was expected that the power of clerics would cease to work–but such was not the case. In the hundreds of years since, the question concerning their origins has generated considerable debate. There are currently two main competing models–transcendent theories claim that cleric powers originate from a source ‘higher’ than our own world, whereas immanent theories hold that the divine originates within the material

Magic-User

Aspiring scholars and students who have trained in the use of magical scrolls and books. While few will make it to the rank of full scholar, many are able to sort out a meagre existence through the ad hoc funding of various research proposals approved by the consortium.

Saving Throws

The 5 standard saves are replaced with the following, in order:

Save versus Cold – A pure, icy line of abolition, the will to power. Used after extended exposure to weather. Failure always results in death. 

Save versus Becoming – Depths without end, echoed laughter. Used when sudden transformation threatens to alter behaviour forever, resulting in the loss of identity.

Save versus Logic – The crushing force of abstract reasoning. Use when navigating the complex chanting  of wizard-scholars.

Save versus Squares – Indoor spaces and right angles, lack of creativity. Use when attempting to resist the challenges in indoor spaces or when navigating obtuse bureaucracy .

Save versus Geology – Stratified articulation, the Earth’s judgment.
